Due to lack of substantial snowfall and consistent warmer temperatures the sleigh and carriage season has ended.
We are so thankful for everyone who spent time with us on the trail this year!
On November 1st, 2025 we will start taking reservations for the following sleigh season, with an expected start date of early December 2025.

Sleigh Rides to beautiful Haviland Lake
Fun for the whole family
VIP Tiki sleigh ride
Our scenic old fashioned sleigh and carriage rides run about 45 minutes in length with beautiful views of Engineer Mountain, Needles Mountains, Hermosa Cliffs and Haviland Lake. Hot chocolate and blankets are provided. The trail is a beautiful taste of Southwest Colorado creating life-long memories for the whole family!
Sleigh rides depart at 2pm, 3pm and 4pm every day through the holiday season. Sleigh season will run as late into the spring as the weather will permit. All sleigh rides are reservation only - please call or book online!
The VIP Tiki Sleigh ride departs at 5pm, as the sun is setting. This unique ride gives visitors a chance to view the beautiful Hermosa cliffs and alpen-glow on Engineer & Needles mountain range. Tiki Torches light the sleigh trail on the way back to the ranch. It’s a truly beautiful evening activity. Guests receive a Bears Ranch souvenir mug on this ride!
FOR EARLY DECEMBER BOOKINGS: If we do not have enough snow for the horses to pull a sleigh, we have carriages available. The carriages go on the exact route the sleighs would take.
